Linux Chilisoft ASP

Hi
I recently updated my hosting plan on hostgator to where i could host ASP files. When I did this I got this message from the sales department:

Hello,

Keep in mind that this is Linux Chilisoft ASP and
will not work with
Microsoft Access or MSSQL databases nor with any
ASP.NET programs. Please let me know if you still want me to continue.

Thank you for contacting the Sales Department!

What does this mean? (noob at asp)

It means Chilisoft ASP is just an ASP emulator, and it doesn't support .NET. ASP is only designed to work natively on Windows. This software allows you to use ASP(most features) on other platforms.
