I have this CSS, but it won't work in Netscape:

<!--A:link, A:visited { text-decoration: none } A:hover { text-decoration: underline; color:#00006b;}
.font { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif}
.menu { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color:#FFFFFF}
.menuwd { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color:#00006b}

.menux { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000; text-decoration: none; width: 140px; height: 16px;}
.menux:hover { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000; text-decoration: none; background-color: #E8D427}

I'm looking for a CSS that will allow my menu to change color when the mouse hovers over it.

Any ideas, suggestions??

Hi gcapp

You should visit the following link. An excellent resource for learning about CSS. The link gives you a table of what is and is not available in IE and NS.

http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_reference.asp

Hope this helps.

To be safe, you should use all lowercase letters. Also try adding a:active and .menux:active -- that might produce the effects you expect.

Ok, I found out that my CSS works in later versions of Netscape.

Does anyobdy know of any mouseover or hovers that work with Netscape 4.0??
