We've all got Dreamweaver here, both DW4 and DW Mx

Our web pages (asp) have include files (for this question, the include has a form).


Problem being, individuals with DW 4 upon opening a file with an include, have the page filled with (never there before) code, because oddly the include is actually opening up within the same file...

I have DW4 on my computer and I have no problems what-so-ever. The include does not open and so the page looks fine in DW and I can work with it.
The others can work but they have to scroll sideways just to work from left to right.

I figured it's a preference thing but going through the preferences, I don't understand what could be causing this.
And stranger still, :) these problems appeared after we began our HTML to ASP conversions. Out of 4 people with DW4, I am the only one without problems...

Now if I haven't confused anyone, help?

Unfortunately I have the same problem as you have posted - using an SSI displays all the code!

I have yet to find out how to stop this and as you posted this some time ago I was wondering whether you actually found out how to change the (?) peferences?

Anyone else know?

Heh.. actually some of the versions being used around our fishbowl :) include DW3 as well.

However, nothing to date has been found to work yet.

I still wait patiently :D
