Reading barcodes on the web

Although I don't actually think this is possible, I'll ask anyway. Is there any way to populate form fields on an .asp page with input from a barcode scanner?

Well yes but you would need to have a program that will send the information to the asp script though.

After a bit more research I actually found an Active-X control that listens for data input on the COM port and is able to insert the information into form fields.
