Padding problem?

On the above page I cannot seem to get the text enclosed in the #container to be affected by a padding element.

Any suggestions?

Alternately, add a div around the entire set of paragraphs and set padding on the div???

That works okay for all the paragraphs except the first one, and that's where I want to add the space.

I resolved it.
