sage line 50 odbc connection

Hi,

i have been employed to produce a inventory, quote, orders, and invoice web based control program. But once all of these processes are complete i want to be able to export the paid invoices and import them into sage (without an expensive piece of software). i have been looking into the ODBC connections that are allowed but i have been unable to find a good tutorial on this.

Does nyone know where i can get a tutorial or open source piece of software that will achive this?

I had a quick look at the Sage website. There is a Sage Developers Group and a Sage Development Kit. These are not free so you may find it difficult to encourage someone to help you unless you offer money.

that was what i was afraid of, the developer integration package is £1500 + VAT. I suppose if u r a big company that is not much money but i will only end up using it this once, so its not really cost effective.

I am starting to think that it would be better to get them to use a open source accounting program can anyone reccomend any? I will be using a LAMP setup so any web based ones will do.
