Help on Formatting of pc

i currently using WIN XP PRO and NTFS file system i want to reformat my pc how? i use boot disk go MS DOS cannot find the drive i wanna format bcos it is NTFS. I want to format my com then reinstall windows. pls help

Even if your drive is NTFS, MS-DOS should still allow you to delete the partition... When you choose Delete Partition, you should have a fourth option for Non-Dos Partition...

if you want, you can also use Windows XP Pro Install Wizard (DOS Version) to format the drive, create new partition, change file system etc.

It is just like installing WINXP .........you know wat I mean ?
