As you have noticed, I just put up my own server. How do I find out the dns?

What do you mean...? That's a very leading question! Do you want to change nameservers, add your own nameservers, add a site to your DNS... or maybe your question is about IPs...? :confused:

If you have SSH access, log in and type dig yourdomain.com to see what your current settings are. Otherwise, a bit more detail and I expect I can help you :)
