Whats going on here?

There is a background image, and a top and bottom image in each div. I tried setting margins and padding to 0px for the bottom... A slip of the background image still shows at the bottom in firefox!??

I fixed it with this code (margin-bottom:-2px):
<div style=\"margin-bottom:-2px;\"><img src=\"$appcallbackurl"."bottomBar.gif\" /></div>

Still kinda odd though... Is there another way?

May be, but please post a link or html&css of your page.

#associates {
background-image: url(http://***.***.248.45/portfolio/background.gif);
float:left;
width:308px;
background-color:#eaf4fe;
}
#comments {
background-image: url(http://***.***.248.45/portfolio/background.gif);
float:left;
width:307px;
background-color:#eaf4fe;
}

And...

<div id=\"comments\">

**** MASSIVE AMOUNT OF PHP CODE REMOVED ****
//Theres my margin-bottom:-2px; fix!
echo "<div style=\"margin-bottom:-2px;\"><img src=\"$appcallbackurl"."bottomBar.gif\" /></div></div>

I'm sorry to say that this is not enough to help you since the html layout depends on its surrounding and near by elements.

Thanks anyway, doesn't really matter. The fix works fine.
