View Full Version : Need guideline before requesting logo.

I am looking to post a request for a paid LOGO design job for my church website.

I understand that these are usually either flat rates or per hour. However, I didn't want to offer too low and not get any serious bids.

Just curious what price ranges I should expect to pay for a medium to high quality logo design in editable format that I can include in a banner.

I would of course give better details on what I expect when I post the request.

Like any other service-based industry, graphic design prices range wildly. You can expect to pay anywhere from a few hundred to several thousand dollars for a good logo; usually the price depends on experience.

I would just detail exactly what you need and solicit bids; hire based on budget and portfolio. (and it goes without saying don't ask for "spec" work ;))

I didn't realize the cost was this high. It makes sense though. Graphics designing is not something you can just decide to do one day, even if you have the right tools you still need to have the talent/gift.

Just because you have a paint brush and paint doesn't make you a painter.

thanks for the heads up.
