Search Engine in new window

I just have a quick question.

I have a search box in my site. When I click go, it opens the search results in the same window. How can I make it open in a new window?

By the way, it is a simple google search.

Try adding target="_blank" to the <form> tag, it should open the results of its submission in a new window.

thanks, that works. I had tried that before, but at that time, i must have put it in the wrong place as it had still opened in the same window. ;)
