Hi!
I am trying to control the bitrate for an embedded WMP file. I want the file to be forced to use a certain bitrate onscreen. I am going to have a page with 3 "thumbnail" feeds and one large "main" feed. The 3 thumbnail feeds will be the lowest possible bitrate (video, no audio) and the large feed will be the main viewing feed (high quality video and audio). The user would click on a thumbnail to view that feed in the main viewing window. So, I want to control the bit rates of the 4 files - 3 low-rate thumbnail and one high-rate large file. Does anyone know a way of doing this??

Thanks for any help!!

So you want to basically have 4 different versions of the video for different connection speeds? You should be able to control this when you export your video. Are you editing the videos yourself, or do you only have the master HQ video? If you are editing, what program do you have and what platform?

Actually, I am streaming the video live. Sorry I forgot to mention that!

Ok that complicates things greatly. If you are streaming live video, then I can't help you there. You will have to look at the documentation of your streaming server, and that sounds like a question you will want to ask in a forum that deals directly with your server. We stream video live from my university, but I haven't had the time to learn it yet, sorry!
