Hi. My speakers have a huge reverb and I don't know how to fix it.
I've tried using different speakers but the same problem repeated itself.
I'm sure it's something wrong with my computer settings but I have no idea what's wrong as I checked the settings and it seemed fine(Although I don't really know anything about it).
If you know what my problem is I'd appreciate if you told me.
Thanks alot!

Reverb is what you have on amplifiers to make every note you play longer. And that's what I'm getting with my speakers.
No, I haven't checked my media equalizer settings. How can I?
Oh, and the problem isn't only with media player... It's with every program I use including youtube and other online listening websites. The problem occurs when I use headsets too.

Im no tech geek, but maybe you have something installed in your computer that has settings that apply to your computer's audio.
Try This Out :S (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/plugins.aspx#audioeffects)

Oh, I don't think that is the problem but I'll try that.
But in your link I have no idea where to go to.

I have never installed any plug-in for my windows. So I don't think this is the problem.

SOLVED! I've been having this problem for almost 6 months now and finally my friend came.. and was pissed off with my crappy computer sound...
I told him that there was nothing we could do but he thought he might know what the problem was.
So he opened the control panel... Then looked for something that might cause the speakers to have a reverb. I then noticed something called 'SOUND EFFECTS' and I quickly told him to click on it.
THERE WAS A 'GENERIC' SOUND EFFECT ON IT! I probably played with it 6 months ago testing my sound effects and forgot to switch it off to <none> again and left it that way.
Conclusion... Don't mess with your computer because then it messes with you. And if you do mess with your computer... Make sure you have the "return to default' button. Learn from my mistakes.. if you can.
