Hi All,
Is it possible to pop up a MS excel sheet from HTML web page?
Please let me know whether i can do this with javascript and html or else i need to go for any other scripts...

Thanks for ur help....But this works only in IE...I need to populate the excel sheet when i click a particular image...Is it Possible to do?

does the user have to interact with the popup or just see the spreadsheet?

also, do you have access to server-side scripting like php

User only visits the page, there is interaction with the excel. Ya we do have access with php.

You need both Internet Explorer and Excel to be able to have a web page pop up an Excel document. To other browsers (and even IE if Excel isn't installed) that is just another unknown file format. You would need to convert it to HTML or PDF if you want all of your visitors to be able to see it.
