In the past few days I've had this feelings that no one is around in here anymore.
It's pretty frustrating for me because I'm new to ASP.NET and I'm trying to learn how to program with it but the book I'd bought doesn't explain too much about the stuff I want to know. And that's why I use this forum.

There's no request on this post but I would just like to know if this forum is always like that.

Sorry to hear that. I sort of feel the same way since I have come hear with a few problems before and have never gotten a solution from someone on this board. I have either found another workaround or eventually figured something out on my own.

You can tell that plenty of people look at your posts by the number of views, and these sure do outweigh the number of replies. I'm not bashing this board in any way, but it could just be that the people here don't have the answers to particular issues, so we may need to look elsewhere as well.

I will continue to post any issues I'm having here just in case there is may be one one day that someone here may be able to answer.

Good luck with your learning.

Yea that's what I think too.
For instance in the ASP forum people answer instantly but in ASP.NET people just want to learn about other's problems like I do.
And only a few people can help us with these problems.

What I understand from that is that ASP.NET is still new to most people in the forums and that's why the number of requests is much bigger than the number of replies.

There's no solution accompanied with this post but just a small suggestion or advice:
We need more people that know ASP.NET on this forum but meanwhile the people that do know it don't help too much. I know that it's hard to help the whole forum but at least try because many people depend on you.

And don't understand me wrong, I always confirm that the only resolution for my problem is to post in here, to not overload on this forum.

If answering questions in this forum was my job and paid my bills then we'd be onto something :D kidding...

It is not easy always to get the time to answer any questions, work work work and that comes first, but people do try :)

Heh. yea.. well.. I do prefer answering questions in the forums then building websites and stuff :p.
Though I don't have to work and pay bills 'cuz I'm 17 years old. I do work.
But it's much easier to just fix a small part of a code rather than building a whole new one.

Thanks for the tutorials Budde! I'll take a look at them :)
