Hey guys, how's things?

I'm working on a project at the minute, which has a fairly advanced internal 'email messaging' system. Dispite this primarily storing and sharing information on the database, I have used CDONTS to physically email the content to the users mail recipient (e.g. MS Outlook).

I was wondering if there was any way to integrate into the sent messages, update the inbox, display deleted messages?

The above is only a preference, however what I need is integration with the calendar I have built.

Any help hugely appreciated, ta.

Thought I would get the ball rolling on this one... I know that if I have a .vsc (vcalendar file) created dynamically, I can add an event to the users local machine (assuming they open, then save).

This is a very basic version of what I want to complete but it's a start.

Anyone know of a way to auto-generate .vsc or iCalendar files?

Anyone got any ideas of how to elaborate on this process so far?

Whatever Jr.

Hi,

Have a look at microformats. It's a way, using classes, to make information in a html-page more semantic. These snippets (contacts, appointments) can be imported in Outlook.
