image placement

I am trying to place a background graphic and a logo in the same div of a header, but I can't find anything that is able to do this.... What am I missing. I thought of using a content property but that won't work in IE, and I tried just throwing in something liek a src property and directing it to a url and that didn't work. I tried making it a class, that didn't do anyhting. I know it's possible, I've seen it done, but man I don't remember when or where. Any suggestions?

Just use a container div with zero padding around (or inside) it.

I've done this by nesting a div inside your other div, or by giving the div a background image, then putting an image inside the div by using the <img> tag. However, I'm not sure if I'm clear on exactly what you are trying to do.
