I am trying abandon the MSAccess changing it by MSSQL.

There is any change in ASP code when working with MSSQL?

It is essential buy a book of MSSQL for learning as works with ASP or not?

I am trying buy a book of MSSQL and ASP.NET. But for now I will working with ASP 3.0

Thank you for any help.

Keep in mind that SQL Server is a bit more strict towards the names of columns in your tables. If you use a reserved word as a column name when you do your SQL Server queries, you will need to enclose the reserved word in [] brackets. If you use any Yes/No in Access converting them to a bit requires that you check for a 0 or 1 in in the where clause of your Query instead of a (False or True).

Then there is the change in how every other database except Access uses apostrophies to enclose date/time values in the where clause of your queries (Access uses the # sign)

And do you believe relevant purchase a book of SQL Server 2000 or 2005?

Or collecting "pieces" of webpages regarding SQL it is enough for learning the MSSQL in deep?

Thanks

As a reference I keep a copy of 'Professional SQL Server 2000 Programming' Written by Robert Vieira and published by Wrox at the office.
