Hi everyone, as you can see I'm new to this forum as by my number of total posts, anyway. I want to learn how to write php, and intergrade it with my website. If you have links, e-books, books, etc, any good place to go, to learn php from the beginning, please tell me..Thanks.

www.php.net has everything. if you can't learn from there then you may want to learn a lower level programming language first.

I would recommend getting a book to learn the basics and then using php.net for reference and/or when you need to figure something out. The documentation and user submitted comments is awesome on php.net but I wouldn't recommend it for someone who doesn't already know their way around a bit.
...unfortunately I don't have a book to suggest as I borrowed the one I used and I can't remember what it was called!:p

something that really bothered me when i learnt php (heh... i still am learning php...;)) is that i couldnt *see* what my pages would look like wihtout uploading them.... so firepages phpdev bundle was fantastic, i would strongly recomend it to anyone. i installed it last week and was up and running in no time!... so... download it...
