Hello all,

I am using PHP-Fusion for a CMS, but I want to recreate a page for SEO purposes in XHTML (basically tableless). I am trying to use the stylesheet already designed for the template instead of recreating it, but added a couple things for ensuring the divs float and such that were not part of the original stylesheet. I am unable to figure out how to make a nested DIV fill its parent DIV in this situation.

The pages are:
http://www.hillsideboergoats.com - this is the main page I am using to create the SEO friendly page
http://www.hillsideboergoats.com/seo.html - this is the page I am working on with CSS

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Jeremy

So you are wanting the content to be to the right of the left navigation? First get rid of the float on .main-bg and then give it a left margin equal to or greater than the width of .side-border-left

.main-bg {
color : #000;
margin-left:181px;
background-color : #fff;
padding : 5px;
}

Finally you are going to have to use the faux columns (http://alistapart.com/articles/fauxcolumns) technique if you want to make it look like the left column is the same height as the content. Here is an example that uses this technique.
