View Full Version : how to run VB6 programs in Vista

I'm trying to work out how to read and use Visual Basic 6 files on a Microsoft Vista machine.

The impression I get is that VB6 will simply not run in Vista (although I came close to
running VB6 straight from the disc). The .net version of VB - 2005 that
is - strongly suggests that the way to upgrade VB6 files is to have both VB6
and VB2005 up and running concurrently. But this of course was written in
2005, i.e. well before the advent of Vista.

Anyone been through this process...? (Here's hopin'!) :-)
