Hi

I am currently using google apps as my email server to send regular email. However googles mail server doesnt seam to send email to phones via txt message so now i have to use my own mail server to send the txt messages. My question is do i have to buy another domain so i can host the email for txting and gmail for sending regular mail or can i make a sub domain like txt.mydomain.com and link that to my server? If so how do i do that?

Thanks

this sounds so familiar to what I'm dealing with right now...

I found that I needed to use something like phpmailer (http://phpmailer.sourceforge.net/) or swiftmailer (http://www.swiftmailer.org) - they allow for multiple mail servers - matter of fact swiftmail actually has info on using the google mail server

dunno if that's exactly what you were looking for...
