Hi,

I have been making a little progress with substituting tables with css, however, I cant seem to shift the annoying gap between two images, i think i have tried everything!! lol

The site is at: www.jdbcomputers.co.uk/new/newindex.php

I have set the left hand menu as a div with a background image, this is so that i can have the login boxes and some links in as text ontop of the image. Please inform me if there is a better way of doing this.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Jon

im even more confused now!! it looks totally different online to what it looks like on my PC viewed with wamp5.

This is what i get on my pc: http://www.jdbcomputers.co.uk/new/site.JPG

Im getting confused and frustrated lol

EDIT: Sorry for that, signs of a long and stressfull day, turns out i dident upload the CSS file!!

However, still have the gap, but have the same on both the pc and the server.

Thanks

#left {
width: 255px;
height: 580px;
float: left;
}
#left img{ /* drop the #b1 from here */
width: 255px;
height: 110px;
float: left;
}

Alternately, keep the #b1 in the css and add an id="b1" to the image tag in the html. Both methods work.
