hello...
after switching to windows vista and giving it a try...
i found out to have some problems on the fan...
it seems not to turn on by itself or if ever it does, the speed i think was lower than 80
i downloaded notebook control hardware, and am contented with the acpi feature control it gives to the user, my problem was that its settings seems not to be permanent for the next startup. when i set the manual fan speed to 170 for my laptop, it works well, and even adjust two steps for changes in the temparature...but ater a restart or resume from sleep or hibernation, i panic over resetting values....(it's default fan speed seems to be 62)

so is there a solution for this, i tried speedfan but i think it's not yet detecting my cpu fan or allowing me to adjust its speed...are there other softwares to control acpi? (i doubt, may be too technical solutions to control acpi?).. thanks

What computer do you use? A laptop or a desktop?
If you use some software to check cpu fan speed, I think maybe the software cannot work normal in vista.

thank you for your reply...
yes, i am using a laptop
the software is said to be working in vista...i guess the hardware is yet to be made compatible
