Find it where? Are you storing them in the database and looking for a way to search for them or what?

Sorry, this isn't your answer, but it is related and I think I should share it. It is a great example I used for UPS's address validation using .Net.

API stands for Application Programming Interface.

An application programming interface (API) is a source code interface that a computer application, operating system or library provides to support requests for services to be made of it by a computer program

The term API is used in two related senses:

A coherent interface consisting of several classes or several sets of related functions or procedures.
A single entry point such as a method, function or procedure.

Yes i want to store UPS tracking number in database.

This example assumes you use page.php?track=1ZTracking#

$query = "SELECT * FROM `table` WHERE `trackingnum` = '" . mysql_real_escape_string($_GET['track']) . "'";
$result = mysql_query($query);
$row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result);

thanks for your reply.

we can use this query when we know about `trackingnum`.

but the problem is that

when we make shipment then UPS generate a tracking number against this shipment, and i want to get this number from UPS site using API or using other method...

... then you need to consult UPS's API/Docs/Support.
