Hey!
I'm trying to solve a problem with my gamepad; however I'm unable to do so. It's been bugging me for several days, so I've come to the forums in seek of knowledge.
While I run the Gamepad option in the Control Panel and run a test on it, all the buttons and sticks are responding properly. However, when I get into a game, neither my Z-Axis buttons or my X-Axis stick function properly.
I've already tried updating the Xinput driver, however when I try to install it I get a "Installation not complete." message at the end - I don't understand this either.
Here are my system specs:
Windows XP SP2
Intel 4 HT
1G DDR2 Ram
ATI Radeon X600 graphics card.
I also did recently install a new DVD-RW drive into my computer; and since then it seems to be running less stable. I'm pretty sure I did everything correctly.
