array_unique broken?

On the explanation page for array_unique function, they said that
array_unique was broken for version 4.0.4. What does that mean?

Just kidding, maybe the best way to find out is to query the bug database. I found only one interesting result: http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=11310

In essence, it means that if you have to develop an application for a host that runs this stone-age version of PHP (as my university does... arghl), you better switch hosts.
