Well im new to java and having trouble finding a reliable site with good instructions, basically im looking for two java applets, one of which would make an image duplicate and mirror the second so it would make an image like this

Anyone think they could help me out? the other thing i needed is a hue shifting applet to change the hue at a certain speed!
