Hey guys,
I'm creating a bit of a strange drop-down menu for a list of links that have sub-link. There doesn't need to be much styling on anything and I just want the drop-down portion to appear on top of the rest of the links in the menu. However, on both IE6 and 7 the box I have created to display on hover displays, but underneath the links to you can't actually use any of the links that pop up.
The page itseld is here (http://olliethecollie.co.uk/drop-down.html) - if you view the source, it's all there.
Cheers

Try giving the container element a smaller z-index.

The menu links work with my IE7.0.6000.16512.

Frank, could you post an example image of the rollover in action if it works on your computer?
Richard, I've tried changing the z-index on various parts but realised that it always works great on Firefox, but not in IE

I have attached three jpgs at different settings on the menu.
The top selector seems to have a problem, although all three produce Error 404 page not found.
Hope they are of use.

Thanks for the images Frank :)
But the links are not the problem here... they are from a different server so I just copied the whole thing across and none of the links should work. The problem is the top-most link that is supposed to have a nice little drop-down section that displays on top of the other links (with a white background), but in IE6/7 it shows up underneath the links :(

If I can help any further, let me know.
I have added a further jpg to the previous post.

Still having this problem. I've tried shifting things around but all to no avail. I've followed a couple of tutorials that teach how this method can be used successfully, but it seems that for this example it simply does not want to work?
