Myself and another artist are looking to start up an online breeding sim game, similar to www.wajas.com or www.squffies.com. However, I have only an extremely basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL. So, we're looking for a partner who is familiar with PHP and MySQL, with knowledge of javascript and ImageMagick a plus.

To start, we're willing to pay for the development of the site. So, if anyone is interested, please email us with a quote for your services. When the site is finished, we'd really love for our coder to stay on as a partner for a share of the profits.

Here's our basic site outline. If anyone needs any more clarification before offering a quote, please don't hesitate to email us.

-User system with logins and password recovery
-Multi-faceted breeding sim, with automatically generated artwork using ImageMagick.
-Site-wide currency system
-Simple forums
-A few simple java or flash-based games
-PayPal capabilities

Interested coders can email us at aminomiko@gmail.com. I will also be checking back at this forum regularly, so I'll be checking my PMs as well. Thank you for your time!

You might need to rethink your example sites;)

Squffies has been down for at least 5 hours and wajas was down for over 2 weeks and when it came back it no longer accepts new accounts.

There are a bunch of other similar games though

You're right that they're probably not the best examples, although Squffies was working when I posted. However, neither one really gives you any information unless you sign up, so that's hardly very helpful, it's true. But they are the two breeding sims I'm a member of, which is why I used them.

I know Pony Island only through reputation, but yes, that sounds like approximately what we want, except that I have a more realistic breeding system in mind.

I know some other websites. But I don't know about PHP and MySQL.

www.showcats.com (http://www.showcats.com)
www.showdog.com (http://www.showdog.com)
www.howrse.com (http://www.howrse.com)
www.smallcritters.com (http://www.smallcritters.com)
www.furry-paws.com (http://www.furry-paws.com)

Hope that helps! :)
