What's wrong with my Dreamweaver? It gives me errors when I open up Dreamweaver or a Dreamweaver file. It gives me errors when I copy and paste. http://img20.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dwerror1ze7.png - comes up when I try to copy and paste. http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/8536/dwerror2py3.png - comees up when I open up a certain file or Dreamweaver and it keeps poping up for a few times then closes.

Sorry that this is a thread non html or css related. Also, on www.afesoccer.com where I have the "T I s d klf a;ll ; akjs ;fk jdlkfj bl;k; lsf j kfj;als;la d;fj;kfja; flka j ;lfkj;d fj aj ;kjfasj; fkj;fk a j;k f;k j fa kjf;l k ; kjs;lk j ;k ja ; k sj;f ajs; kfj ; jflj; dk fj;k jfl;j f kj lkjf;lk -50 ks djf ;lak j;l ; asldjf lkjalk jf;aldjf kj;faj ;fjlkfal kjfkjf ;lj;f ;lk ; ;slkd", how do I put a picture in the background of it in Dreamweaver. Or just put images under texts and other things. I am using an PHP page with CSS and page sides.

This happens sometimes when you shut down your system without closing DW properly. You need to find the configuration folder and delete it. For Dreamweaver versions less than 9 this is usually in
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Macromedia\

Deleting this folder will not cause your settings to go away. It may change your layout of Dreamweaver but thats about it.

DW will recreate the folder once you open it.

C:\Users\Paul\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver 9 is the location of the that folder on Vista.

I refuse to help you any further until you fix your coding errors. http://validator.w3.org is the url to the validator.

What errors?

I'm guessing you've never used the validator before. The errors I'm talking about are the 63 errors the validator shows. See them here (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.afesoccer.com%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&ss=1&group=0&verbose=1).

Ohh, but when I look at the errors and then on my site, I see nothing wrong with it. I don't get it.

You probably don’t see anything because you don’t understand what you are doing. Your code is just one huge mess and the validator tells you pretty clearly what actually is wrong with your code. You can even click the line numbers and it shows you where the error occurs.

But if you don’t learn a little bit of HTML you’ll never understand what’s up with your code and why things don’t work (even Dreamweaver doesn’t help you do things right if you’re not knowing what to do). As I said in the other thread: You need to learn and understand HTML and CSS before you can start building websites.
