Can popup windows be created without using javascript?

I would like a popup window sized 453 x 482 px to appear in the center of my myspace page when visitors first go to my page. I have created a page on my website that I would like to appear in the popup window.

If anyone out there has any clue how I can do this without using javascript (since myspace disables you from using javascript in your profiles) that would be grand!!

Can't be done. As you say, myspace does not allow scripts, doubtless for this reason (among others).

You can get what is effectively a popup window just using css. You use what is usually used for tooltips.

Look at the article on Floating Tooltips from Fiji Web Design (http://www.fijiwebdesign.com/content/view/82/77/). I use this trick extensively.
