First of all I'm having well 3 or 4 problems with my current PC. It all started when I bought the PC, (Here's my pc for info on specs and stuff.. http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/store/cur_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1744404043.1187382041@@@@&BV_EngineID=cccdadd lkehgfhgcflgceggdhhmdgmi.0&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null&sku=821238& category_oid=-20732)
Anyhow.. When I bought the pc, everything was ok.. I was just doing what you would normally do setting it up.. and so goes on. I was just installing, Windows Vista Home Premium
which was pre-installed on the pc, but as i was doing that I forgot to put sound cables in..So I put them in but knocked, the main cable, which obviously turned all the computer power off. I didn't think nothing of it, So I switch it on again, But I got the "Famous blue screen of death" It loaded, to the blue screen and it said it had to restart for some reason kept doing it over and over again, So I went to the other PC. And downloaded, windows Vista and burned it to disc.. I thought I'd be able to get around activation because XP Was so easy, and didn't think nothing of it.

Then when i set it up all worked.. I setup the thing what stops activation, doesn't login to the server, or something along those lines. It seem to be working, But just a couple of days after that I've been away on vacation. i get back and a couple of days later. Activation is invalid. So yep. It's my own fault on that part, I really should of called someone out, or took it back to the store while i could. But it was just something I did on the top of my head.

But now..All I'm looking to do is format it with XP. which is obviously, normally very easy... But, there seems to be a "boot up from disc" problem , I have set it up in the BIOS. But no matter what i do, It just wont boot up I have tried it with CD-ROMs Dvds which are all bootiable disc, and i know for a fact the cds work as i use them on other PCs.

I thought the problem would be the 'thing' I used to stop the activation for Vista, As when the computer is booting up, some text come up and you got a little dialog menu.. (something to do with menu.lyt) or something like that, But I un-installed that. And still wont boot up from disc.

if you require more information to help with my problem..Then I will give it to you obviously...Just don't really know what information you require..All I'm really looking for is to boot up from disc..Then I can reformat it to XP And all should be ok..
