I am new to CSS, but am trying to use it without tables. I'm not a professional webmaster, but I try. At any rate, I have a problem. I have run into a roadblock, and was hoping someone would be kind enough to help me out. BTW, I am using Windows 2000 and the latest version of IE.
The CSS is working fine on this test page:
http://www.gossameronline.com/testweb/twotest.html
The format of the problem page is essentially the same. I have the page centered, and it has two columns. A large left column, and a smaller right column.
The problem page contains a long passage of text. When it is downloaded into IE, it comes up, then when the right column loads, the part of the text in the left column below where the right one ends, disappears:
http://www.gossameronline.com/testweb/testep.html
On my html editor, Firstpage, and offline in IE, it works just fine. Could this be a problem with my server? I have tried a number of variations, but I am stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
BTW, here is a link to an html page with my css code on it:
http://www.gossameronline.com/testweb/csspage.html
Thanks to any who dare,
Alice
