Hi all have got WAMP5 also got PHP script how do i get the script to load like a web site on WAMP so i can edit the site? Have put files in htdocs but its still code.
Any help would be appreceated:confused:

I'm pretty sure you have to install PHP.

I recommend XAMPP from: http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html Everything is taken care of for you during installation.
Read the WAMP documentation. You have to start apache using the WAMP start menu item or system tray icon before it will start serving pages.
You may also want to consider that WAMP5 is beta. A previous, stable version is what you may want to try first.

WAMP (from www.wampserver.com) comes with mySql and PHP and phpMyAdmin installed and ready to go. I use this on a development server at home.
To create a site or use a PHP script you have to create a directory within the "www" folder. You can simply replace what is already in the www folder but a really DON'T recommend you do that. Then place your script inside the directory you just created. You then can view the site/script using "http://machineName/myNewSite" or you can use the existing menu page by typing "http://machineName" then clicking on the link to your newly created directory.
