I'm looking into inter-process communication for XPCOM, and Shane Caraveo of ActiveState suggested Python's subprocess.py as a good way to do it. I'm wondering if anyone here would be willing to write a PyXPCOM wrapper for this Python module, so that other XPCOM components could use it.
If you can do this, I'd be really grateful. Your work would go into a nice open-source XPCOM debugger pilot project right away. (The idea is to use Mozilla to control GDB or Windows's CDB.)
