Couple of questions. Your host does support php and Mysql, right? and you've read the readme.txt file you get with it and followed the instructions?
If you really can't do it yourself, I'll set it up for you. Send me an email to waynet@wcreations.co.uk and we'll go from there.

EZBoard? Try 'MyIconBoard'... They are a bit nicer, and you don't get just anyone from any other boards able to just waltz right in.
EZBoard also has more adds... and well, sign-up is a pain in the arse.

*spews* www.ikonboard.com
Most hosts ban the use of flat-file forums due to the amount of resources they use. Ikonboard is banned on many hosts.

darudude
i can install phpbb for you or you can use a hosted forum which i used to use it's pretty good all you have to do is fill in the name of the forum you want a user name password and e-mails forum description and thats it you get an e-mail to confirm your forum
and it's set up
it's like this one only in cgi, my friend owns the site he told me that a new version of uppeboard is comming out that will be php and cgi put together so it will run a lot faster well here is the link for the sign up page
