li indenting second lineesthera 08-07-2007, 12:24 PM how can i set a style for my ul or ol so that teh second line is under the first and not under the first bullet or number for long list items? b_hole 08-07-2007, 01:19 PM I'm not sure what you mean. Maybe list-style-position: inside? ahallicks 08-07-2007, 02:00 PM I think you mean list item, because the li is the bit that the text is put in. And in FF and IE7 at least, on li text that takes more than one line the second line is displayed flush with the first line, and does not go back to being positioned underneath the bullet point? Do you have an example that you can show us? AndyArmstrong 08-07-2007, 02:13 PM Do you mean like : http://www.new.3genergi.co.uk/index.php?module=webpage&id=8 Username:newsite Password:123newsite If yes use padding on the css li element. esthera 08-07-2007, 02:35 PM i think this is what i wanted teh only issue is then the numbers and bullets move out of the margin |
