need help in force download

Hi
I want to download a .pdf file forcefully, I need help in that regard. I forgot which header to be used for that, please anyone help me.

i have pdf file and on click i don't want this to open in browser instead it should get downloaded.

The HTTP header is, I believe, Content-Type: application/octet-stream.
