Hello there,

I am not new to CSS, although I have a question:

How do I make my CSS have a background image for a user inputted area?

An example would be if I have a contact us form and there is a name input and i want to make the background of the name input to /images/blah.gif

Thanks!

Like so:

Put this in your body {} or a div.

background-image: url([imageurl]);

It can, of course, also be used in a style attribute.

Put this in your body {} or a div.

background-image: url([imageurl]);

That wouldn't do what he wanted. That would just put a backgroundimage to the body or a div...

I would think this is what you're after.

input {
background: url(image_name.gif);
}

Thank you, that worked. :) I gave you rep!
