Well I am being forced to do a free web site (family) and I am searching for any cheap commercial hosting. The current host of the domain charges $30 for php mysql commercial sites....ridiculous! I guess I dont have to code with php and mySQL but since this is for free an fun I was wanting to try it. Anyways this site is going to have cc transactions so I need https and also need the ability to upload images. I was wondering if someone could recommend a host that they are using for small commercial sites.

I offer quality hosting at good rates; message me if you are interested, as I don't think it would be appropriate to say to much about it in public. :)

I can say though that I offer lots of features that most hosts do NOT offer - such as cron jobs and anonymous FTP.

If you are willing to spend a little more, I think you would like what www.beyondinfinit.com offer....

Personally I think both of those links given are expensive. I don't limit or throttle the services I offer, and my packages are $40 per year and $80 per year depending on the features and bandwidth you choose.

With both you can have unlimited subdomains etc. and also unlimited domains if they point to the same account. Unlimited space, latest PHP and MySQL, good bandwidth allowance, full featured email, etc.

I am not sure how much I am allowed to pimp this because it is mine, but I decided to post the same sort of details as the other companies that you mentioned, except a link. I don't want to overstep the forums TOS in any way so please message me for a link or other details etc. :)

This rather begs the question ... do you remember "Double-Dipped Purple Ohms" ??

no... I have no idea what that is...

It's basically a paraphrase of something Murdoch says to BA Baracus in one classic episode of the A-Team where BA has been shot and Murdoch has the same blood type and so gives BA some of his blood. He then winds BA up by saying they have become 'blood brothers' and that BA will soon have his genius :D

I used to love the A-Team when I was a kid and Murdoch was very cool, so there we go :)
