Hi all,
I am here to request advice from the good people who frequent these waters :) I have been looking for a sleek, stylish, versatile, and professional in-page slideshow display system to use on this and future web design projects. I currently use Lightbox V2.0 (http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/), which is a pop-out slideshow but serves it's purpose in lieu of anything better.
I have just found ProjectSeven's Slideshow Magic (http://www.projectseven.com/products/galleries/ssm/ssm_03.htm) which I am completely enthralled with look and functionality wise and am considering purchasing it. I am currently designing a page for a local community organization who has indicated that if I needed to buy software, they would be open to it.
To avoid spending the precious money they have, I am asking if this purchase ($100) is a good investment or if there is a similar script out there for free that I have not come across.
If so, please do url me... if not, any comment on the intelligence of a purchase like this would be welcome. I ask because in my day I've seen a lot of people buy software that they didn't need because a free version existed and I want to avoid that if I can.
Thanks for your input, as always it is welcomed and appreciated :)
