i was wondering if i can display title of a song in the popup.php

something like this.

Title Timer Artist
song thats playing now how long is the file well artist..

if any question.. well, just post em here.
i have nothing to hide..

Well you are already using php so that takes care of the first step. You also pass a query to the url of popup.php that has the song title in it. So now we need to parse the query and clean it up a bit. Luckily its only 3 lines.

$title = basename($_SERVER['QUERY_STRING'],'.wma');
$title = urldecode($title);
echo $title;
?>
Put that on popup.php where you want the song title to display. It will work with any query string so need to change it each time. I now see that you need more info. Search for php mp3 classes. There is this one here http://www.sourcerally.net/Scripts/20-PHP-MP3-Class but it says it only works with php5. Would need to be modified for php4.

for some reason i cant seem to display the artist.

also, if there is any way to display other songs by the same artist or album??
