It looks good. Clean, simple and definitive. You have two slight validation errors that need correcting, an alt tag missing from an image and apparently you are missing a closing div (hard to tell because you indentation is a little off!). I like the rollovers for the navigation section, very well done.
What is the site about? What is it going to do? I'm guessing that it's going to be a template for news feeds?

Thanks for the inpute! *now to look for that div  " lol.
I love trying to design cool pages so I plan on making a site with the main purpose of offering Free Templates. Once i get it up and running i plan to add one template every week.
it will also have articles on:
the finale thing i will add to the site is a lists of resources to very good sites that aid in web-development.
i'll add other stuff as i think of it :D

My thought is that it would depend on what your audience is. The look is clean. To me, it looks like a site for young folk having fun, not for people doing business. As long as that's the audience for this thing, I'd say nice job.
It kind of reminds me of the game Dig Dug ;)

Thanks for that other link srule. As a template for your site, it looks fine and dandy. There are a lot of spelling mistakes, something you have already noted.
Oddly enough, I've spent the past 48 hours researching various css tutorials, trying to produce a couple of templates for my site Only late last night did I get near understanding what I was doing. I have been unable, thus far to find a design template that served my needs but have now worked out roughly what I need to be doing.
That last paragraph should serve to explain my point. There is a real need for a comprehensive css design and tutorial site, that caters for the complete novice. It was ages before I realised the design was done on the page and the style sheet was a different page and exactly what should be put on each.
I also found that actually building a page according to the tutorial, I was better able to understand than if I had just read the article. Screen shots that showed expected results along the way helped enormously. It is important to believe your users actually know nothing and work from there.
A good concept, worthwhile doing.
Best of luck with the site.
