So everytime i publish my flash site..there is a ton of white space at the top of the page.....kind of like too much header space in a word doc.

I modified this site from a template that I love...and it looked fine while working in it..but now when its published the the main menu buttons that scroll horizontal across the page, are in the center of the screen! Of course I want the buttons at the top of the page.

Actually I want the entire site scooted up towards the top, because half of the site doesnt show up (havent added a scrollbar to the site yet).

What can I do? I am such a newb, that I can see this taking me a week or so to move everything up on the page. I tried doing the onion skins thingie..but it freezes my flash. Isnt there any way to just cut all the white at the top out?

I'm afraid we don't have enough information. Is it possible for you to post a link to what is happening?

the site is www.edicetech.com

Its very rough..only been working on it for a couple of days...but do you see what is happening...too much white space at the top...when published..and I cant scroll down to the bottom of the site.

So I need to figure out how to remove the white space and also How the heck do I add as scrollbar on the right hand side of the page. I dont need a scrolling text box.

The site was created all in flash CS3, not in dreamweaver...I am a newbie..so please be gentle!

We need to see the .fla file.

My suggestion to you is don't be a noob and make the mistake that every beginner makes. The mistake is thinking that an all flash site is "cool". Its not, and as you can see has its drawbacks. Its also not going to be indexed very well by search engines.

Flash 99% Bad (http://www.useit.com/alertbox/20001029.html).

I do use flash on my own site but its used sparingly.
