I have a Flash site that has video streaming and the site seems to have problems on the web server where it takes down other programs on the Windows 2000 Web server. The System admin says he needs to increase the Network bandwidth from 10MB to 1 GB by increasing something called a pipe? Please advise if there is way to work around the bandwidth issue on the server to get my Flash site working and is this normal for a Server not being able to handle a Flash program? What is the average Bandwidth a Server should have when working with Flash web sites?

On a site I'm currently working on we have about 100 mp3 files, and about 15 or so flash videos (.flv). Our bandwidth for just this month its already 10GB. I expect that to at least triple by the end of the month. On a server that doesn't support flash streaming you have to use a progressive download. You may want to look into a Streaming Flash server. It may cut down on the bandwidth.
