My CD-Rom drive

I need help my computer recognizes my CD-Rom drive but it doesnt read anything what can be wrong with it plz help me :confused:

If your computer is picking up on the device but you cannot read cd's... Then unless they are burned cd's (may not be sealed properly or in a format your cd does not recognize) or your cd-rom needs cleaning, I would have to say that it is most likely a bad drive...

New CD-ROM drives aren't that expensive. Of course now for like $15 more you can get a CD burner. And they aren't that hard to install, but if you don't want to do it usually places like CompUSA will install it for you for free... sometimes.
