Processing Forms

Hey, i did a search on this, and well im still a bit confused.

All i want is for my "contact us" form to be e-mailed to my hotmail e-mail when the user presses "submit"

Now i don't know anything about JavaScript or PHP. Is there a way of doing it without using these languages?

Right now i simply put:
"action="mailto:myemail@hotmail.com"

this does not work good cuz when i press "submit" it opens microsoft outlook.

Pretty sure you will need PHP or another language like that.

That looks good but the thing im not sure about is they provide me with the html for the form along with the php.

im good with CSS/XHTML and already designed my form, soo, can i just copy there php stuff into my html document then re-name it as ".php" or do i need to use there html?

Your web provider should offer some sort of option which will process your forms. Have you looked in your cPanel?

no because i dont know what i would be looking for.
