Thinking about it, I can't see why it shouldn't be possible to do with classes, but it's a lot of pixel colours to define. ;) I was planning a project once where I would build up a little 108 x 144 image with divs, quickly binned it though because I would have to define 15552 colours!

Have you ever seen the CSS House (http://www.tanfa.co.uk/css/borders/house.htm)? It's pretty cool (even though it has 8 validation errors ;)).

Cool.. the project I binned were going to be bigger though, over 15000 lines of code, each div only 1 x 1 pixel and with a unique colour. ;) But nevermind, it's too big a project, lol.
