How do you do a drop-down box in excel, so that I can click on it and choose an item from the list? I cannot work out how to do this. I am using windows 98, excel 2000.
Cheers,
thanks for your help.

OK, Thanks, I have done that, but where do I put the info in so that it will appear on the drop down list?
Cheers again.

Pick a column and put each value into a row cell in that column. Right click on the drop down to click format control. Go to the Control tab and select the range of cells that contain the values you entered.

On the Format Control bit I only have the following tabs to choose from.
Size, Protection, Properties and Web.
I cannot find a place to put the range of cells in...
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
